PRONOVA Grand Finale

Providence College of Engineering was proud to sponsor and host the grand finale of its state level science competition, PRONOVA.

The finalists were hosted at the campus on 28th February to demonstrate their projects to an expert judging panel.

The grand prize of Rs 50,000 was won by Safa English Medium School, Mattul North, Kannur, represented by Sahl Faizal, Muhammad Shammas and Shakir Shaduli for their project titled "FUEO PLAST".

The Government Higher Secondary School from Kadamakudy headed by Asif Shemeer took the first runner-up position with his project "MODERN ECO FUEL".

The second and third runners-up were St Michael's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Burnacherry, Kannur comprising of Joel M Devasia and Alan Rose Babu with their project "ROAD ACCIDENTS THWART" and St John's Syrian Higher Secondary School, Vadakara led by Geon M Thomas with his "SOLAR POWERED MECHANICAL SYSTEM".

The finale was honoured by the presence of Dr. Kuncheria P Isaac, vice-chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and Dr. Ramesh Unnikrishnan, director, AICTE.
